Awards

Based in Taupo, on the New Zealand North Island, Vern and Louise from Sika Country Taxidermy have made a strong statement by winning many of the major awards at taxidermy competitions both nationally and internationally for their outstanding trophy mounts and creative presentations.

Major awards won for mounts displaying artistry, craftsmanship and beautiful rendition of the animal include

• UTA Artisan Award
• NZTA Best of Masters Division
• WASCO Most Artistic Entry Award
• Breakthrough Award
• 2nd in World at the World Taxidermy Championship in USA.
